Summary: A piece of silly, stupid fluff, just like the rest of Ted and Booster’s relationship. And no baby eating.
Booster will say he had been exceptionally suave and charming, having planned everything to such perfection Ted was left speechless and misty eyed by it. Ted will say Booster was the biggest klutz in existence who stammered all his words and was on the verge of tears waiting for Ted’s answer. Both will be telling the truth, of course, just not all of it.
Booster indeed planned everything out to perfection, the problem was life decided to happen and Ted ends up having to make an emergency trip to a test facility in San Diego because a project he’s coordinating with S.T.A.R. Labs decided to be problematic. And because it’s all the way in San Diego, it means Ted isn’t just gone for the night but for an entire day and then some, just to make sure nothing else goes wrong. It means Booster is left alone for half a week, getting angrier and angrier at how all his work was so effortlessly thwarted by a measly chemical bond that refused to bond. By the time Ted gets back he gets all that frustration and anger focused on him because even if it’s not his fault Booster’s plan fell through, it’s still his fault. That, of course, sets Ted off because he just spent a number of days fretting over a very expensive project that no one else seemed to know how to handle which turned Ted’s neuroticism up to eleven. So they yell at each other and neither really know why they’re yelling but the other one definitely started it so it’s not their fault.

Booster was sad and lonely one night and looking through a folder on his computer labeled “Pictures of Ted vol 7”, when he decided to open up MakeMeBabies.com.
Entering in the most dashing of his headshots and some photo of Ted’s where his nose didn’t look too big, he hit “Make a baby!”
Moments later, Michelle and Rani heard a scream coming from Booster’s room. Rip heard it, too, but Rip was getting really good at ignoring Booster’s outbursts.
When Michelle eventually decided checking on her brother was probably the right thing to do, she opened his door to find that he had fainted on the floor in front of his desk.
On the screen, was a ridiculous picture of what looked like Booster imitating that movie about male models, a plus sign, a somewhat-unflattering picture of the man her brother wouldn’t admit to being in love with, an equal sign, and a startlingly handsome picture of Rip.
Michelle quietly closed the door and decided she needed a strong drink to wash away the mental image of a pregnant Ted Kord and/or all the times she’d snuck a peek at Rip’s butt.

Ted Kord looked around the room, then peeked out his bedroom door. He could hear noises in the kitchen, which meant Booster was probably making himself some food. Perfect.
He closed the door to his room and began to unbutton his shirt. He had a small time-frame to get into his costume…
